Sarah Pettit is a sophomore at Tumwater High School and this is her first year in journalism. She was inspired by her older sister to be a part of journalism since her older sister enjoyed the class so much. Sarah mainly enjoys writing about important and informative topics that highlight the world around us, not just our own personal worlds that we tend to live in the most. This year Sarah is excited to be an editor for the Tumwater Talon. Outside of school, Sarah is a dancer at Studio West Dance Academy, plays guitar in her free time, loves everything Disney and Star Wars related, and enjoys hanging out with her dog, Aspen.
